VOTE BY MAIL (ABSENTEE) BALLOT INFORMATION
Vote-by-mail (absentee) ballots were mailed out by the Supervisor of Elections offices in Manatee and Sarasota Counties on February 7, 2017, for the March 14, 2017, General Election. Requests for a vote-by-mail ballot must be received by the elections office no later than 5 p.m. on Wednesday, March 8, 2017.
If you would like to request a vote-by-mail ballot for the March 14th Election, you must be registered to vote on Longboat Key by February 13, 2017. You may contact the Supervisor of Elections offices, as follows:

Marked ballots must be received at the Office of the Supervisor of Elections, 600 301 Boulevard West, Suite 108, Bradenton, no later than 7 p.m. on March 14, 2017. Do not return your voted absentee ballot to a polling place.
Sarasota County Registered Voters:
On-Line: Submit an online request at www.SarasotaVotes.com
Marked ballots must be received at the Office of the Supervisor of Elections, 101 South Washington Boulevard, Sarasota, no later than 7 p.m. on March 14, 2017. Do not return your voted absentee ballot to a polling place.
A voter, with the exception of uniformed service and civilian voters living overseas, who requests a ballot be mailed to an address other than the address on file in the Florida Voter Registration System, must submit a signed written request to the elections office.
