All Longboat Key registered voters should have received their Special Election mail ballot for the May 12, 2015, by this time. If you have NOT received your ballot, assistance is available through the Town Clerk's Office to secure a ballot.

IMPORTANT NOTICE TO REGISTERED VOTERS

All Longboat Key registered voters should have received their May 12, 2015, ballot for a Special Election with regard to the following referendum question:

 

May the Town allow up to 300 new tourism units with tourism and accessory uses within certain portions of the Longboat Key Club Lowercase property located at 201 and 301 Gulf of Mexico Drive and 361 Longboat Club Road and situated within the MUC-2 land use category and zoning district provided such allowance shall not exceed the maximum allowable overall MUC-2 density?

 

Please be advised that this referendum does not guarantee approval of a development for the subject property or for a specific development plan.  Additional approvals for any development must be obtained from the Town of Longboat Key prior to development of the property.

 

THIS ELECTION IS BEING CONDUCTED BY MAIL BALLOT.  THERE WILL BE NO PRECINCTS OPEN ON MAY 12, 2015.  YOUR BALLOT MUST BE MAILED, IN THE STAMPED ENVELOPE INCLUDED WITH YOUR BALLOT TO THE SUPERVISOR OF ELECTIONS OFFICE AND RECEIVED PRIOR TO 7:00 P.M. ON MAY 12, 2015.
