DEBRIS REMOVAL: debris removal continues today on public roads
FDOT will provide additional debris cleanup services along Gulf of Mexico Drive
Only properties on Gulf of Mexico Drive are to use the state highway right-of-way for debris dumping – if you are found dumping along Gulf of Mexico Drive, you may be required to return debris to your property or face fines for illegal dumping
DO NOT PLACE DEBRIS NEAR A BACKFLOW, MASTER METER, FIRE HYDRANT, OR MAILBOX – any repair costs for damages assessed to these devices by the debris removal contractors will be the responsibility of the property owner
WATER/WASTEWATER: LOW WATER PRESSURE IS TO BE EXPECTED UNTIL FULL REPAIRS ARE DONE
POOL FILLS – we request that all wait to fill pools as the water pressure is still low
POWER: FPL estimates all power is restored now - if you continue to have issues, please contact 800-226-3545
WiFi: services available at Bayfront Park Tennis Courts and Town Hall
SALVATION ARMY: providing free hot meals at Bayfront Park (4052 Gulf of Mexico Drive), approximately 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., while the need remains on the island
WASHING FACILITIES: restrooms, showers, and laundry services are available at North Fire Station, 5490 Gulf of Mexico Drive
DRINKING WATER: pallets of drinking water are available at Bayfront Park (4052 Gulf of Mexico Drive, by restroom area) and Town Hall (501 Bay Isles Road) – please only take what you need
CYCLING ACTIVITIES: PLEASE REFRAIN from cycling on Gulf of Mexico Drive due to hazardous conditions of debris and sand
