Yard waste is collected on Wednesday. Please have your containers, bags, and bundles of yard waste at the curb no later than 7:00 a.m. on the day of collection.

Yard waste must be properly containerized in 32 gallon cans, yard waste bags, or bundled and tied with twine strong enough to lift the bundles. The bundles should be no longer than 4 feet in length, 16 inches in diameter, and no more than 40 pounds per bundle. Please do not use your green container, Waste Management will not pick up the yard waste from these containers.

95.44 - Recycling of yard trash.

All residential or commercial users shall handle yard trash by one of the following methods:

1. Yard trash may be delivered to a location to receive and collect yard trash for recycling.

2. Yard trash may be disposed of by mulching and composting, provided that such mulching and composting shall be confined to the user's property and properly screened from neighboring property.

3. Canned, bagged, or bundled yard trash may be placed at the curb or other location authorized for collection of yard trash for delivery to a recycling facility.
